New Delhi: The former defense minister and senior Janata Dal (United States) leader George Fernandes was taken to hospital in the capital on Saturday for a routine check. He was suffering from neurological complications in the past few months.
Max authorities in the hospital, where George was admitted to medical attention, however, stressed that there was ‘nothing much to worry about and it is likely to be discharged from the hospital by the evening’.
Fernandez, 80, visited the hospital on Friday for a medical examination.
Fernandez object to the Lok Sabha elections in 2009 as an independent candidate from Muzzaffarpur in the state of Bihar.
