All-Black Penguin – – This picture of an All-Black Penguin is one the rarest sights we may come across and according to the scientists; this is just unbelievable!
The picture in question has arrived through the courtesy of National Geographic’s Andrew Evans and the same was taken at a South Georgian island, near Antarctica.
The moment this rare picture surfaced on the Internet it caught attention of many of the scientists as well as renowned biologists that were stunned to see a penguin in an all black dress. The experts on the issue described the occurrence as ‘one in a zillion’ and according to them; some kind of mutation turned its normal skin color to black and that is rare, they believe.
Looking entirely different from all his normal-colored counterparts this king penguin possesses an enormous size and appears to be absolutely healthy, grownup species. One glance at the newly discovered black bird attracts the onlookers due to its unusual look as compared to normal tuxedoed appearance of the penguins.
According the theories of the biologists, there must be some kind of loss of control faced by this particular animal in terms of pigmentation and as noted above; the same is an extremely rare occurrence of its kind. While on a trip to Antarctica the National Geographic crew noticed this rare bird and Andrew Evans immediately captured it on the canvas alongside many others present on the occasion.
Even the University of Toronto based Dr. Allah Baker was taken aback to see the picture and his first reaction was ‘disbelief.’ One of the scientists reportedly stated that it’s an absolute monster, ‘Just look at its legs’ size.” Defining further, Dr. Baker stated that the melanin deposits of the bird occurred thus resulting changing its whole complexion.
