Calderon: Memorial Day Weekend, nearly 1,000 people took part in “Kites for treatment,” a kite fly benefit the family of Coopers Beach on Saturday afternoon in Southampton. This event raised more than $ 80,000 to Joanne Legacy: Uniting Against Lung Cancer, which funds innovative research of lung cancer in all parts of the country.
