Betty Nguyen (born September 1, 1974) is an American news anchor currently working with the cable television news channel CNN. Co-anchors CNN Saturday morning, CNN Sunday morning, and editions of the weekend CNN Newsroom with TJ Holmes and the correspondent of regular and other contributors to CNN programming.
Newsflash: The network CBS that Betty Nguyen CNN is leaving and joining the network and a full-time correspondent for CBS News, on March 11, 2010. Betty will anchor the CBS Morning News, and provide regular reports to show early, and contribute to the Division and other broadcasting platforms. Born in Saigon, Vietnam of Vietnamese and white American, and she left the country in April 1975 to come to the United States. She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin. Nguyen has a younger sister, a figure skater. Nguyen has been encouraging during the days of youth, and a member of Zeta Tao Alpha sorority in college. Nguyen intended to become a lawyer, but instead received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 1995.
